The Childers State School P&C is made up of interested parents, caregivers and community members who work in partnership with the school to extend the learning opportunities and facilities of the school for our children. Members of the P&C sit on the school management committee which oversees the school budget, and major operating decision are brought before the P&C for discussion and approval. In addition the P&C endeavours to raise funds to support the school with regular projects including support for the extensive outdoor education program conducted by the school, as well as special projects. In the past couple of years these have included air-conditioning for the library, new computers for various classes, turf for playgrounds, shelter sheds, shade sails and reading books.

We would like to invite you to become a part of this active group. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the staff room from 7pm. Even if you can't attend meetings your support and participation would be most welcome at fundraising events, tuckshop or working bees. We can arrange for copies of the minutes to be sent to you so that you can keep up with the news!
