School Wide Positive Behaviour |

Childers State School is a POSITIVE school. Individual and class rewards are gained each week by students.
The Class of the Week announced each Friday receives 30 minutes of Golden Time which is a free time activity which the winning class democratically decides upon. Activities include touch football, dance, soccer, iPads, and basketball or the class may decide on another activity.
As well, individuals receive awards for their leadership, behaviour on busline and their Community Spirit. All rewards aim to further foster the positive culture in our school.
Staff are encouraged to consistently provide positives to students throughout the day, both inside and outside of the classroom. Each student is valued and respected at this school and this program supports this belief. |

 Since 1992, school communities across Australia have demonstrated their support for caring for the environment through participating in Schools Clean Up Day.
This year the Year Sevens and Sixes from 7A and 6/7B cleaned up our school grounds. House Captains, with their teammates, were given the responsibility of cleaning up designated areas. Gloves were donned and each area was cleaned.
Reggie accompanied each group of students, having his photo taken with the collected litter. Congratulations to all these students for caring for our environment. |

The P&C is holding an Easter raffle with the proceeds being used to support our Physical Education programme in the form of much needed sporting equipment. All families will receive a book of 10 tickets, with each ticket valued at $1.00, to sell to family and friends. The major prizes are Easter Baskets (full of Easter goodies) valued at $100, $50 and $25. The School Community would very much appreciate your support in this raffle. |
